SOFT, GENTLE FACE SPONGES: The Konjac Face Sponge can be used on all skin types including and around delicate areas of the face. It’s eco friendly and has natural sponge components which allow it to be composted after use.

Safety Information: The Konjac Sponge is only meant for external use on skin that is not broken or irritated. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Konjac sponges are ideal for all skin types including acne prone, oily, and sensitive skin that is not broken or damaged. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

How to care for a Konjac Sponge: Before use, rinse and hydrate your Konjac Sponge in warm water. Squeeze out any excess water and gently cleanse skin.

After use, always rinse your sponge well and allow to dry in an airy place between uses. Squeeze the sponge between your flattened hands. Be careful not to wring it out as this may damage the delicate plant fibers. You can also put your clean sponge in the fridge to keep it fresh and cool, which helps it last even longer. Also, your sponge should also be aired out in a dry area. When dried, it will shrink and harden (this is perfectly natural).

Simply allow it to absorb water and rehydrate before using again. Never use the sponge when dry. Never leave the sponge in the shower or in a pool of water. Your Konjac Sponge is a 100% natural vegetable product and could last up to 1 to 2 months. Once it looks tired or breaks down, replace it with a new sponge. Our Natural Konjac Sponges can also be safely composted or used in the garden to help water your plants by holding moisture. Never leave a child or pet unattended with a sponge.

To clean, immerse your konjac sponge in very hot water for around three minutes on a weekly basis. Do not use boiling water because this can damage or deform the sponge. Remove the sponge from the hot water carefully. Once cooled, you can gently ring out the excess water in the sponge and put in a well-ventilated area to dry.

Directions: Soak konjac sponges for one to two minutes in warm water. Massage the face in a circular motion with or without cleanser. Rinse away cleanser from sponge and squeeze out water. Hang by cotton string to dry in a well-ventilated area until next use. For best results, be sure to replace your natural sponge every 1 to 2  months or sooner if it looks tired or breaks down.
